GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ALE Zaragoza is a cooperative of Spanish teachers for foreigners. Its headquarters are located at Calle Corona de Aragón, 4 local, 50005 Zaragoza (Spain). Tax identification number F-99551756. It is registered in the Zaragoza Mercantile Registry.
1.COURSES
All reservations made online are subject to confirmation by email.
The school offers students the group that best suits their level. If a student's level of Spanish is unsuitable for the course booked, the school may change the student.
The school guarantees a maximum of 5 students per classroom in both face-to-face and online courses. At certain times and on a temporary basis, classes may have a maximum of 6 students.
Class schedules are subject to change. The schedule for private classes can only be changed if 24 hours' notice is given before the class.
Eating is not permitted in any type of class. For online classes, students must be in a quiet room and have their webcam turned on.
2. REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
Registration can be done in the following ways:

- By telephone or WhatsApp
Payment for ALE Zaragoza courses and events must be made in full 30 days before the start of the course or event. This payment confirms your place.
Payment methods:
- Credit card on our website.
- Bank transfer indicating the name of the course participant.
3. COVID-19
Covid-19. In the event of cancellation of face-to-face classes due to Covid-19, courses will continue online or a credit will be offered to be redeemed within the following 12 months.
4. CANCELLATION POLICY
All course booking cancellations take effect in the week following their submission. In justified cases, a credit will be issued. The credit issued will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Once the 12-month period has expired, the student will lose their right to credit or refund.
5. CERTIFICATES
A certificate of attendance and achievement will be issued. This certificate is not valid for university admission or citizenship applications.
This certificate will include the name of the school, the name of the course, the course level, the number of hours completed, the start date, and the end date.
6. COMPLAINTS AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION
Participants must communicate their complaints in writing as soon as possible in order to find a solution. Only complaints made during the student's stay will be eligible for compensation.
7. MEDICAL INSURANCE
ALE Zaragoza advises participants in its courses to have medical insurance. Participants from European Union member countries are recommended to bring their European Health Insurance Card.
8. PHOTOS AND VIDEOS
The school reserves the right to use photos and videos taken during the students' stay, unless the student states in writing that they do not give their consent.
9. PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
There are public holidays in both online and face-to-face courses. These days will not be compensated or refunded.
Public holidays: 1 January (New Year's Day), 6 January (Epiphany), 29 January (San Valero), 5 March (Cincomarzada) in April (Maundy Thursday and Good Friday), 23 April (Aragon Day), 1 May (Labour Day), 15 August (Assumption of the Virgin), 12 October (Our Lady of Pilar Day and Hispanic Heritage Day), 1 November (All Saints' Day), 6 December (Spanish Constitution Day), 8 December (Ascension Day) and 25 December (Christmas Day).
10. ACCOMMODATION
The school provides contact details for flat owners but does not handle the booking process. Any problems with accommodation should be resolved directly with the owner.
11. PRIVATE LESSONS
Private classes must be cancelled 24 hours before the class begins. If private classes are on Mondays, they must be cancelled on Fridays. Private classes are not eligible for exchange or refund if not cancelled within this time frame.
In private classes, if the student does not show up at the start time, the teacher will wait a maximum of 15 minutes.
12. ONLINE CLASSES
Depending on the number of students, online courses may be entirely online or hybrid (with some students online and others in the classroom).
13. IN-PERSON CLASSES
If you are unable to attend class, you may connect and participate via videoconference.
In group classes, if no students show up at the start time, the teacher will wait for a maximum of 30 minutes.
14. MISSED CLASSES
If you are unable to attend class, we can record the class for you to watch later.
15. CANCELLATION OF ACTIVITIES
Students are entitled to a refund of the price paid for the activity if they notify us by email 7 days before the day of the activity.
16. CONTRACT
The reservation or payment confirms acceptance of these terms and conditions.
