GENERAL CONDITIONS

ALE Zaragoza is a Cooperative of Spanish teachers for foreigners. Based at Paseo de Teruel 32, 50004 Zaragoza (Spain). Tax identification number F-99551756. It is registered in the Mercantile Registry of Zaragoza.

1.COURSES

All reservations made online are subject to confirmation via email.

The school places the student in the group that best suits their level. If a student's level of Spanish is inadequate for the reserved course, the school may change the student.

The school guarantees a maximum of 5 students per classroom in face-to-face courses and online courses. At some point and temporarily, the class could have a maximum of 6 students.

Class times may be subject to change. The schedule of private classes can only be changed if you inform 36 hours before the class.

In all courses, eating is not allowed. At the online lessons it is necessary to be in a room without noise and keep the webcam always on during video lessons.

2. REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

Enrollment can be done in the following ways:

  2. Phone or whatsaap

Payment for ALE Zaragoza courses and events is made in full 15 days before the start of the course or event. This payment is the confirmation of the place.

Payment methods:

  • Credit card on our website.
  • Bank transfer indicating the name of the participant in the course
  • In cash, directly at our office

3. COVID 19

Covid-19. In the event of cancellation of face-to-face classes due to covid 19. The courses would continue online or a credit would be offered to redeem in the following 12 months

4. CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

All course reservation cancellations take effect the week following their presentation. In justified cases, a credit will be generated. The credit issued will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Once the 12-month period is over, the student will lose the right to credit or refund.

5. CERTIFICATES

Will be issued a certified certificate of attendance and achievement. This certificate is not valid to access a University or apply for nationality.

In this certificate it will appear the name of the school, the name of the course, the level of the course, the number of hours completed, the start date, and the end date.

6. CLAIMS AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION

The participant must In all cases, communicate your complaints in writing as soon as possible in order to find a solution. Only claims made during the student's stay may be entitled to receive some compensation.

7. MEDICAL INSURANCE

ALE Zaragoza advises participants in its courses to have medical insurance. For participants whose country is a member of the European Union, it is recommended that they come with the European Health Insurance Card.

8. PHOTOS AND VIDEOS

The school reserves the right to use photos and videos made during the students' stay, unless the student says in writing that they do not consent.

9. PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

In the online classes and in the in-person courses, public holidays will not be compensated or reimbursed.

Public Holidays: January 1 (New Year), January 6 (Wise men), January 29 (San Valero), March 5 (Cincomarzada), in April (Holy Thursday and Good Friday), April 23 (Aragon Day) , May 1 (Worker’s day), August 15 (Assumption of the Virgin), October 12 (Our Lady of the Pilar Day and Hispanic Day), November 1 (All Saints' Day), December 6 (The Spanish Constitution), December 8 (The Ascension) and December 25 (Christmas).

10. ACCOMMODATION

At the school we facilitate contacts with apartment owners but we do not carry out the reservation procedures. Any problem with the accommodation must be resolved directly with the owner.

11. PRIVATE CLASSES

Private classes must be canceled 24 hours before class begins. If the private classes are on Monday, they must be canceled on Friday. The private class does not give the right to exchange or refund if it is not canceled within this period.

12. ONLINE LESSONS 

Depending on student number. online courses can be either fully online or hibrid (with students online and others in the classroom)

13. IN-PERSONS LESSONS 

If you cannot come to the school, you can attend by videoconference.

14. MISSED LESSONS 

If you are going to miss a lesson, you can ask your teacher to record it.

15. CANCELLATION OF ACTIVITIES

The student has the right to a refund of the price paid for the activity if he communicates it by email 7 days before the day of the activity.

16. CONTRACT

The reservation or payment confirms the acceptance of these conditions and terms.
